Summer Reading Programs
CSE encourages all its students to read every day during the summer! Not only is reading a fun way to pass the long summer days, but it also keeps your brain sharp and prepared for the next school year. We recommend the following summer reading programs to all of our families:
St. Paul Public Library - Summer Spark
June 1 - August 31, 2019. For ages 0-18.
SPPL's Summer Spark program encourages kids to have fun, stay active, and keep learning all summer long. Join in the fun by attending free programs at your library and earning prizes by completing reading and activity challenges! Kids and teens can earn book prizes, journals, and a chance to spin the prize wheel in August. Also, be sure to take advantage of the free "Spark Camps" happening at all SPPL locations. Spark Camps include Minecraft camps, STEM camps, Art camps, and much more. To learn more about the Summer Spark program visit:
Ramsey County Library - Summer Break at the Library

Kids: Ages 11 and younger
Track the number of books read, time spent reading, activities completed, or a combination of all three. This summer, use your Beanstack account or download the Beanstack Tracker app on your phone and choose the “Summer Break” program to participate. Activity logs are also available in your library. For more details, check with your local children’s librarian!
Children ages 11 and younger who participate in the summer learning program will get a free ticket to Battlecreek Waterworks by signing up online or picking up an activity log. Upon completion of the program, participants will earn a free book and chances to win family packs of tickets to local events and destinations.*
