Signing up for a library card at SPPL is easy to do. Stop in to your nearest library branch. Please bring a photo ID, proof of your date of birth, and proof of your current address. Follow this link for more instructions on how to get your card.

Libby (Overdrive) is a free service utilized by Saint Paul Public, Hennepin County, and Washington County Libraries to give patrons access to eBooks and E-Audiobooks from any smart device (phone, tablet, PC, etc.)
How to Sign Up
To gain access to the thousands of books available through Libby visit this link. The first step is to download the app on your device. It's available through both the Apple store and Google store. After downloading the app, search for your library (SPPL/HCL/WCL). Then enter your library card # and you're done! Search and read on your device. Still having trouble? Use this guide to help you.
CloudLibrary is another option for accessing eBooks on your computer and other smart devices. The CloudLibrary app is available for Windows and Mac systems and is utilized by Saint Paul Public, Ramsey County, Hennepin County, Washington County, and Dakota County Libraries. As with Libby, you start by downloading the app, opening it, selecting your language, then searching your library. After selecting your library, put in your card information and you're all set!
