The mission of CSE is to connect students and teachers globally to Hmong around the world such as Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and China.

In the summer of 2008 a group of CSE educators traveled to Laos and Thailand to focus on curriculum development to enhance our Hmong Language and Culture program and to immerse staff in the Hmong language and culture. This was an eye opening trip for CSE staff. The group visited schools, Hmong villages and get a real taste of the Hmong daily life in Laos and Thailand.

Through this trip the leader of CSE has establish partnership with two sister schools in the mountain of Chiang Ria, Thailand. Our goal is to connect students and teachers through letters, emails and eventually webcam to exchange learning and promote cultural awareness.

During the 2008-2009 school year students and teachers exchange letters regarding school and life in the U.S. and in Thailand. CSE's goal is to take our 8th Grade students to Thailand in December of 2009. Our students and teachers are working hard to raise money for this trip. The students and staff are excited and cannot wait to meet their pen pals in Thailand.

Here are the information about our two sister school in Thailand.
